Raymond G. Heinzelmann Joins GBA
RAYMOND G. HEINZELMANN, Ph.D, joins Gahagan & Bryant Associates, Inc. (GBA) as a Senior Associate, bringing with him a strong background in marketing, environmental project management and beneficial use of dredged material. Prior to joining GBA, Dr. Heinzelmann retired from the Delaware River Port Authority, (DRPA) after twenty-two years of service. He served in numerous capacities as Director of the World Trade Division to Manager of Maritime Projects. He has expertise in managing projects including deepening of river channels, dredged material management, disposal site evaluation and selection, beneficial reuse of dredge material and agile port systems analysis. He also has experience in the economics and planning of marine facilities.
Dr. Heinzelmann received a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the American University and a MBA from New York University. He is past president of the North Atlantic Ports Association, the World Trade Association of Philadelphia, and the Chilean American Chamber of Commerce. He is currently secretary of the Seamen’s Church Institute of Philadelphia and honorary member of the Maritime Society. He is the recipient of the 2000 Spirit of the Port Award presented by the Seamen’s Church Institute and the Order of Bernardo O’Higgins Knight Commander Award from the government of Chile.
