Precision hydrographic surveys are key elements of the design and construction of dredging projects. GBA has a broad range of experience and background in hydrographic surveying throughout the major port areas in the United States. Our primary focus is on port and offshore navigational channel dredging projects, harbor and river surveys, and beach renourishment projects. As a member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Industry Hydrographic Surveying Committee, GBA helped to establish the standards for dredging payment surveys in the U.S. Hydrographic surveys performed by GBA met or exceeded standards set by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
GBA has provided condition and payment surveys as design and construction management tools to most of the nation’s largest port authorities in addition to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and private dredging contractors.
GBA’s survey team include professional land surveyors and ACSM certified hydrographers.
