PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

GBA assisted the Port of Galveston and the USACE Galveston District with updating the project Limited Reevaluation Report (LRR), which included the review of environmental studies and economic justification, and the development and negotiation of the Project Cooperation Agreement (PCA) and subsequent funding. GBA provided consulting and engineering services relating to the design of the navigation channel deepening and disposal areas. Additionaly, GBA provided construction management and site inspection services during dredging and construction activities at the Pelican Island and San Jacinto Placment Areas. GBA is currently providing services to the Port for a harbor extension study and permitting for two cruise ship turning basins as well as rehabilitation and construction of new docks.
